At AIG, Carolyn actively encourages a focus on Diversity & Inclusion. She has regularly helped organise sessions where senior leaders talk to employees about their careers and listen to feedback. Outside work, Carolyn is a volunteer mentor with The Girls’ Network, which aims to inspire and empower teenage girls from the least advantaged communities by connecting them with a network of positive female role models for mentoring. Carolyn is also a mentor with Women in Banking and Finance. In addition, she volunteers with the Junior League of London, a charity that aims to promote voluntary service, develop the potential of women and improve the community through effective action and leadership from trained volunteers. Carolyn is due to speak at the European Women in Finance conference in Amsterdam in November, and was recently invited to the House of Commons for the inaugural Game Changers senior female networking event.
