Niamh works in AIG’s Multinational department, and is a Committee member of GEM – Gender Equality Matters – a UK-based Employee Resource Group within AIG. GEM advocates a gender-balanced approach in the workplace both externally, through events and partnerships, and internally, through the support of AIG’s senior leadership. In 2018, Niamh  helped drive a clothes collection campaign at AIG in collaboration with the charity Smartworks, which offers training and career support services for unemployed women from deprived backgrounds. Niamh also mentors colleagues and peers in the industry, and in 2017, was named a ‘Rising Star in Insurance’ as part of the ‘WeAreTheCity Rising Star Awards,’ which recognise emerging female talent across multiple sectors of industry. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Insurance, as well as a BA in International Insurance and Risk Management
