During her 30 years at BCG, Miki has consistently championed women within the organization. As the leader of the Women@BCG program in Asia Pacific, she was responsible for running sponsorship, mentorship, training and affiliation initiatives to support the success and satisfaction of BCG’s women. She remains a member of the global Women@BCG Steering Committee. She has authored multiple global studies on women in the workplace on topics such as women’s engagement, ambition and diversity spend. She is a formal mentor to five female partners as a member of the firm’s executive committee, and an informal mentor to many others. Miki has spoken on a panel at the Global Summit of Women in Tokyo, and sat on a “She-Suite” panel at Tina Brown’s Women in the World Summit in New York City, focusing on the challenges and opportunities facing women at the top. She was a panelist at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Conference in Hong Kong and gave a workshop on women’s engagement and inclusion at TEDWomen. At the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meetings in Davos Miki has participated in a number of forums focused on enhancing success and opportunities for women in business.
