Karen is a proven business leader with a track record in creating vibrant cultures, energising teams, and consistently delivering business growth and success. She is UK President for WPP, the world’s largest marketing services group and responsible for driving growth in WPP’s second largest market of 12,000 people. Karen is dedicated to advancing women’s careers. She is the Executive Sponsor of Stella, a WPP Employee Resource Group supporting women’s opportunities and gender diversity. She also launched Elevate, a programme for high-potential Black female employees. Karen champions WPP’s Propeller programme, fostering diverse leadership pipelines with 2,633 participants across 71 countries. It has resulted in 33 promotions to CEO-level roles in four years. As CEO of Mediacom, Karen also elevated women in senior management to 44%. Karen is a single to a beautiful teenage boy, Isaac. The daughter of 2 Bajan parents, Karen regularly returns to her spiritual “home” Barbados and spends her weekends enjoying the outdoors and walking her two adorable dogs Bob Marley and Missy Elliot.
