The CEO at Co-op, Jo champions women’s inclusion and gender diversity through colleague networks. Jo served as the Aspire Executive sponsor which is a community of colleagues who believe that all women in Co-op have a right to equality. Recently she has become the new Respect Executive sponsor which support LGBT+ workers at the Co-op. Jo founded the Grocery Girls Network, a trailblazing initiative bringing women together to share experiences, career journeys and inspiration. Jo serves as the Ambassador of Girls Out Loud, a non-profit organization focusing on developing young female talent. Moreover, Jo is the member of Women’s Business and Manchester International Festival. In 2019, Jo was awarded Veuve Clicquot Business Women of the Year award.
