Jean is a founding member of BNY Mellon’s award-winning Women’s Initiatives Network and served as its Co-chair from 2013 through 2016. She promoted the development of WIN’s global Mentoring and Reverse Mentoring programs, serves as a mentor, both formally and informally, for a number of colleagues, and engages BNY Mellon men to become actively involved with WIN as male allies. She led BNY Mellon’s global focus on International Women’s Day, which has become WIN’s annual marquee event, and shares her career journey at internal events sponsored by WIN. She actively participates as a member of the company’s Diversity & Inclusion Council. Jean is a co-founding member of the Wall Street Women’s Alliance, bringing together senior women’s group leaders in the financial services industry to share best practices, and pilot a new WSWA Cross-company Mentoring Program. She introduced BNY Mellon to the Smart Women Securities organisation across multiple university campuses and frequently speaks at campus events about leadership and her career journey. Jean is a member of the President’s Council at Fordham University and was a former co-chair of  Women United in Philanthropy for the United Way in New York City.
