Jayashree heads the Gender Diversity & Inclusion programme for Standard Chartered Bank Technology, India. She has led campus recruitments in women’s colleges across India, designing a programme to demonstrate that IT engineering roles can be interesting and fulfilling. She created a global programme promoting leadership for high potential women in the historically male- dominated field of IT Infrastructure. Jayashree also mentors junior women building networks and enabling to promote themselves positively. To recognise women doing amazing things in the field of technology, Jayashree launched a company newsletter featuring them, circulated globally and instituted awards for recognising Women talent and achievements. At Standard Chartered Jayashree has led the creation of parenting circles, and is working on in-house creches and family networks to support children while the mother is working.
