At Aviva, Emma took a leading role in organising International Women’s Day events across London; particular focus was taken on the Women in Tech event at Aviva’s digital office. Emma formed a working group in order to deliver the event and department wide communication; utilised senior network of contacts to source speakers and gain sponsorship. Now the driving force behind a programme of events across all diversity characteristics including gender as part of her role in the global D&I working group. Utilising previous experience as women’s network chair in previous organisation to share best practice in Aviva.
