Steve Murrells

Under Steve’s leadership at Co-op Group, gender diversity in senior hires has increased from 33% women in 2017 to 56% women in 2020. The executive team recruited by Steve has women leading two of the biggest business areas as well as the roles of Chief Finance Officer, Chief People Officer, and Group Secretary and Legal Counsel. Steve has developed a strong D&I agenda at the organization with aims for increasing inclusion and representation at all levels of the businesses.
